BidVertiser Ads for Feeds - WordPress Plugin and FeedBurner Solution Announced

Since we launched BidVertiser Ads for Feeds, we have been closely listening to our publishers' feedback and the most common request was to find a solution that will enable them to run the ads while keeping their current feed address (and FeedBurner Subscribers Count).

To address this, we have now launched 3 unique solutions:

1. WordPress Plugin to allow you to seamlessly embed the BidVertiser Ads in your feeds. You can download the plugin from your publisher account.

2. Solution for FeedBurner that allows you to embed the BidVertiser Ads in your current FeedBurner address. Click here to learn more about the FeedBurner solution.

3. Solution for Blogger/Blogspot that allows you to embed the BidVertiser Ads in the footer of each of your post feeds. Click here to learn more about the Blogger solution.

All of those great features are now available for you in your publisher control panel under the Get Feed Widget button (after registering a feed). If you are new to BidVertiser, <a href="http://www.bidvertiser.com/bdv/BidVertiser/bdv_publisher.dbm" target=_blank">click here to create a publisher account.

As always - any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

How to Control eBay Ads and Set 3rd Party Ad Server

For the past months, we have been receiving requests from our publishers to have more control over their BidVertiser ads.

As a result, we have recently added two new features:

1. Display eBay Ads (yes/no) - By choosing "no", you can now limit your ads to only show text ads. By default, eBay Ads are set to display on all sites.

2. 3rd Party Ad Server / URL Forwarding - Allows you to serve your BidVertiser ads from a different domain name from the one registered in your account; Very useful when either serving the BidVertiser ads from a 3rd party ad server or from a URL forwarding service (commonly used in blogs or in a framed website).

To access these features, simply click "Preferences" from your Publisher Control Panel.

New Look of the BidVertiser Ads

You may have noticed that the format of the BidVertiser Ads has been slightly changed. There are 3 main changes applied to the ads:

Title and URL, both have an underline on/off affect while moving the mouse over.

Title, Description and URL can now be opened in a new window or tab when right-clicking on, which makes them more user-friendly.

The BidVertiser brand name and the companion "Advertise Here" text are now blended into one section, appearing in the bottom right hand of the ad.

The above changes have been applied after reviewing requests we have received from our publishers, as well as after analyzing user-behavior.

The control that our publishers have on the ads (colors, background etc.) are kept intact and we hope that this new ad format will work well for both of our publishers and advertisers.

As always, we welcome any feedback via our customer service center.

We have just launched a new set of referral program images and links, named "Advertise Here Set". This set allows you, as our publisher, to place various "Advertise Here" referral buttons and links across your website, blog, or even email newsletter, inviting your visitors to advertise on your site via BidVertiser.

To make it even more enticing, this set will give your visitors $20 coupon of free clicks to advertise on your site and will link directly to your personal "Advertise Here" landing page on the BidVertiser site, featuring the free $20 coupon. And better than that - we do not require any initial deposit which makes the $20 free for real!

To enjoy this great benefit, simply login to your account, click the "Referral Program" link on the upper navigation bar, activate your referral program and choose to refer Advertisers. Then, simply choose any of the "Advertise Here" set of images or links.

New Pricing Structure for Referrals

Since we have launched our referral program, we have been closely monitoring it and we have noticed that the time frame between signing a new referral and generating revenues from that referral is too long. To address this, and to allow you to generate more revenues faster, we are pleased to announce a new pricing structure for referrals:

When a user signs as an advertiser and first spends $10, we'll credit your account with $5. When that same advertiser spends $50, you will be credited with an additional $20.

When a user signs as a publisher and first earns $10, we'll credit your account with $10. When that same publisher earns $50, you will be credited with an additional $40.

In addition to applying to any of your future referrals, the new pricing structure also applies to your current referrals that you have not been paid for yet!
